Prof. Kehinde Adesina Thomas

Prof. Kehinde Adesina Thomas is a Professor of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. With over 30 years of experience, he is a respected expert in development communication, stakeholder engagement, social impact assessment, and sustainable rural development.
He holds a Ph.D. (2011) and M.Sc. (2004) in Agricultural Extension and Rural Development from the University of Ibadan, and a B.Sc. (1991) in Agricultural Science Education from the University of Calabar. His work spans Nigeria, Ghana, Mali, and Kenya.
Prof. Thomas has consulted for major projects including the Sasakawa Africa Association’s Digital Extension Delivery System (Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation funded), the World Bank-funded Ogun State Economic Transformation Project, and the Lagos Food Bank Initiative Agricultural Recovery Project. He has also served as Co-Principal Investigator on UK aid-funded agricultural policy research.
Fluent in English, Yoruba, and Hausa, he brings extensive field experience and academic expertise to extension services and rural development initiatives across Africa.
